M111 everything newbie - 190e project car

Hi All,

Been working on a 190e m111 swap for the better part of the year. Figured I should start a build page to post updates on how everything is going and also get help from the pros.

Bit of background, picked the car up late last year and started gathering parts. I'm located in Kenya so shipping in most parts from UK and Dubai which can take some time. So far the engine is in and the ECU is wired in. Need to get it cranked which has been easier said than done

Car is a 87' 190e came with the 2.0 Carb
Swapped in the m111.973 from a CLK230

Now is really time to post a picture of your setup since there must be a lot of magic wiring between microRusEFI and your M111.

Please confirm that bench testing buttons make injectors click.

Please confirm that bench testing buttons make coils spark.

Please confirm fuel pump and main relay situation.

Hey yes will get some pictures though its a real mess at the moment.

So on bench We’ve confirmed that the coil packs are all firing and that the injectors are firing as well.

When we try crank with fuel source set to fixed the injectors fire but under fuel map they don’t. We suspect this is the issue preventing the engine from starting.

I’ve uploaded logs of both tries.

Shall we start vehicle with fixed cranking to get things tested?

So we’ve tried playing around with the base fuel mass with values between 10mg to 35mg but it floods the plugs.
