Hey everyone

im Andrew From Australia, i have audm my01 wrx that will be rusefi in the near future,
I have previously built a ms3 a wired up to a Nissan pulsar sss, i enjoy, like all of us diy and ecu tuning,

I currently are running a carberry flash tune, but hate flash tuning so are moving to the rusefi

MRE ordered and on its way, ive ordered a ecu header and will build a little patch harness to the factory engine harness,

bigger newer sti intercooler

i will be uploading tune once ive got it working and is reasonably happy, to help the community

is 2001 still the 76 pin header? Random minor bits of info at https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi/wiki/Vault-of-Subaru probably not much valuable for you

bugeye wrx are 122 pin same as toyota/mazda, 03 change to a different plug, at the time i couldn't find any ecu headers to suit in ref to Subaru, so i found the connector number and ordered from Alibaba and ordered 10 of them as a minimum order, then i found that they fit other things and you guys have a freaking setup already o well, if you want more ill happily sell the rest them for my cost,

this is the plan for the patch harness from the pigtail to the factory ecu, i need to buy a vr to hall for my cam sensor

ive got my ecu but cant update the firmware, installed drivers and getting this from the message window

"stm32 bootloader" with or without red icon in device manager?

if driver was installed it should work. try "swtich to DFU" and "manual DFU update" actions separately if your windows takes too much time to detect device?

Stm32 boot loader is a little question mark and is not categorised as a usb device,

I tried that it just said unable to find device in the log

I think that’s due to the above

got it sorted just played with drivers once in dfu mode

Ive just seen the electronic wastegate video on youtube and thought to myself why dont i do that, so ive ordered a 06L145612 Turbo Wastegate Electronic Actuator from VAG cars for under $100 from aliexpress and i will integrate it into my project i dont think this will be too hard considering i have a few ins and out left over

Hi 007adr, did you get your electronic wastegate to eventually work with rusefi and set it up/map, boost control with TS?

If yes, I would really like to chat more with you on that. Pls thanks
