Hello everyone, I come from China and my English is not very good, so I am using translation software
What I want to match is my motorcycle, which is from Benelli, Italy
Its displacement is a 1130CC three cylinder engine
No intake pressure sensor
I want to match PROTEUS
What aspects of work do I need to prepare?
benelli 1130 Tre

Re: benelli 1130 Tre
Hi MuShan,
I had basically the same idea but due to other priorities have not yet completed that work.
The major work seems to be mapping the factory ECU connectors to the matching rusEFI ECU connectors.
A draft version is at https://rusefi.com/docs/pinouts/Benelli_Walbro/
Recently on the Benelli forum more information became available (see [url]https://www.benelliforum.com/threads/1130-tnt-ecu-walbro-on-testbench-pinout.33672/?post_id=273260#post-273260] ), but is not updated in above mapping yet.
Maybe you wanted to confirm and complete this work?

Yes, I really want to complete this operation so that Benelli can work in a closed-loop state. I will use R160 high angle camshaft for my 1130K. But it requires a lot of sensors to be added, which is really not a good idea, and my English is not very good, nor am I familiar with programming languages.mi-hol wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 12:40 pm嗨,MuShan,

Re: benelli 1130 Tre
Could you please explain the reasoning for that?
From my understanding all required sensors are already present.

Re: benelli 1130 Tre
It lacks an intake pressure sensor, and its oxygen sensor is not very sensitive? I want its engine to work in a closed-loop state, which should make it more stable

And in China, the number of this car is very small, and the accessories are also very difficult to find. Fortunately, there are Benelli 752s, Benelli 1200GT, and TNT899 produced in China, which make it relatively easier to obtain some vulnerable parts

Re: benelli 1130 Tre
right, the intake pressure sensor was inside the ECU. I intended to use TPS-based table fuel lookup with interpolation (Alpha-N).
Factory used oxygen sensor is a narrow-band version, I planned to replace it with a Bosch LSU4.9 wide-band version.
Lets see if closed-loop will actually work for a motorcycle with quickly changing load. With a constant load closed-loop would have benefits, but I don't drive my Benelli on a German Autobahn with constant load often.
Would it be possible to find out what exact sensor(s) are used by TNT899 produced in China for intake pressure and temperature?
Best Regards

Re: benelli 1130 Tre
A note of caution regarding closed-loop.
At least the 900ccm Benelli engines in Tornado model with full paneling had cooling issues at low speeds and high external temperature requiring injection of additional fuel to cool pistons and avoid engine faults!
A few guys in Benelli forum retrofitted these engines with electrical water pump instead of mechanical water pump to improve cooling.
An aftermarket electrical water pump kit is available from a dealer in Germany

Re: benelli 1130 Tre
The pressure sensor installed on the circuit board of its ECU is an atmospheric pressure sensor. I do not have a TNT899 vehicle produced in China, so I cannot know. I will ask friends who own this car about the oxygen sensor in their WeChat group chat. I do not believe that replacing it with the Bosch LSU4.9 you mentioned will have better improvements. And its intake temperature sensor at 1130K is not installed inside the intake air filter box at the front of the car. The overall quality of high-speed people in Germany will be better, which can make vehicles run faster. The maximum speed in China is limited to 120KM/H and motorcycles are required to drive on the far right sidemi-hol wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2024 2:59 pmright, the intake pressure sensor was inside the ECU. I replaced my 1130k with a Chinese made TNT899 throttle valve, but there is no position or sensor for the intake pressure sensor on it. I think the Chinese made TNT899 does not have this sensor installedmi-hol wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2024 2:59 pmright, the intake pressure sensor was inside the ECU.
