Incorrect Number of Sparks during 12-1 Trigger

I am trying to set up a microRusEFI for 4 cylinder with individual coils, use a 12-1 custom toothed wheel sensor on the crank. The ignition should be sparking four times in an engine cylcle, I am however receiving eight sparks. I have attached images of my settings and reading from console engine sniffer. I am hoping someone can help by either providing an explanation or at the very least point me in the right direction

I there a method to make it individual spark? I am trying to adapt the ECU for a motorcycle at high speed around 12k to 14k rpm.

I managed to implement 12-1 trigger on a single cylinder engine with individual coil ignition mode. Accordingly, four cylinders should be able to run on this mode. Does this feature exist or has it yet to be added?

Some engines are two stroke and some engines are four stroke.

On a four stroke engine crank position sensor does not know when to ignite.

How do you address that challenge?

I have 4-stroke 150cc 1-cylinder motorcyle engine with 12-1 Trigger pattern attached to the microrusEFI

The method I am hoping to use is running Waste Spark during Cranking and transitioning to Individual Spark when exceeding the Cranking RPM. If the RPM drops below the Cranking threshold it will return to Waste Spark.

Is there any way to currently do this? If not, I hope it may be a feature in the future.

Normally, motorcycle engine only use Crank Sensor.

Sparkes on exhaust as well as on combustion. It was a common technique on older engines with mechanical timing.

However high revs are likely a problem with extra spark in 4 stroke. It's likely to not enough time build a magnet field.

I've managed to successfully crank a 1-Cylinder 150cc engine by fooling the ECU with 2-Cylinder 300cc setting because we need the ignition waste spark mode. The attached images show the engine sniffer results for 1-Cylinder and 2-Cylinder. I am unable to obtain the waste spark mode for 1-Cylinder setup. The video shows the startup using the 2-Piston Setting. It possible to add the missing waste spark mode to the 1-Cylinder Engine Mode?

you can try using MAP sensor to detect engine phase
