I'll keep an update once I find out what's happening.
I find that really odd that my trigger angle is 40.
Even on my megasquirt it was 86....
I probably did something wrong somewhere...

JFYI, some documentation (at least subaru) has injectors numbered according physical position, while ignitors numbered in firing order.

As I thought, I was the issue
Being from a megasquirt, I wired pin 1 to 8 following the firing order.
rusEFI doesn't work this way, it must be following the cylinder numbering.
I fixed that in the hardware config and it started right away
