Im not sure on your base map. You will see Fuel Pump under the Base Engine menu.
It looks like its disabled, which Pin and pin mode should I select?

Looks like pin 35 is GP1?

That looks right. You should see a priming time reaction from the pump.

Hi All,

Does this ECU have the capability of using an output for boost control?

Guys,

To use the Kia TPS, do I have to switch wires/pins around? I think I read that somewhere but for some reason I can't find the info.

Thanks

I believe yes. Kia tps has a different pinout and will damage things if not wired correctly.

Best to double check anything like this.

So in this thread:

https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1908

It looks like I have to switch two pins around, and remove the R22 10k resistor?

If I just get the popular BMW TPS (used on speeduino and MS), will it work without having to do the above mods?

Thanks

I *believe* the KIA and BMW TPS pinouts are identical. So either way you have to do the mod. Same for MS.

this is not a sorcery :) analog TPS (throttle position sensors) are simple potentiometers. they have 3 ends let's label them 1,2,3. grab an om meter and measure resistances between legs and move the throttle, there should be one pair that is not changing resistance for example 1,2. one of them must be tide to GND other to 5V. the one remaining must be attached to TPS of the MRE....

if you plug the kia tps right in, you will find that the calibration values are backwards due to the switched wires but it works perfectly fine.

Thanks, and I'll still have to remove the R22 resistor?

If you don't remove R22 the values will fluctuate because of unstable voltages, but it's perfectly usable

Also I did the pinout swap, but the values are still backwards :P
