Hello from United Kingdom

Post by whizzo944 »

Hello All,
I have stumbled across this project accidentally, I currently have a Megasquirt MS2 with MSExtra firmware, and I also have a CoolEFI/FreeEMS Jaguar 0.7.
I am trying to use either of these to run my project vehicle, a Honda VFR400R NC30 motorcycle. Do I post questions about rusEFI here or elsewhere in this forum?

Thanks in advance,

Dave.

Hello and welcome along.

For a project engine, it's probably best to post about that over here http://rusefi.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=3 however that's not a huge concern. I'd say it's more important to do something cool than to worry about where it's posted in the forum.

Also if you haven't found the wiki yet, that will likely include lots of interesting information, found here http://rusefi.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

Out of curiosity, what is your back ground, electrical, mechanical, other?
Welcome to the friendlier side of internet crazy :)

Hello All,
Thanks for having me :D , to answer kb1gtt's question about my background, I work as a Service Engineer repairing CNC engineering machinery, mainly the
electrical and electronic bits, but sometimes the mechanics too. I've been a total petrolhead since I was about 10 years old and I was riding a motorcycle when i was 12.
I currently have a Honda VFR400R NC30 'bike and a Honda Civic Type-R EP3 ,which I think is called something different in the USA

Regards,

Dave.
