Have you checked
http://rusefi.com/wiki/index.php?title=Manual:Software:User/en ? It has a link to
http://www.st.com/web/en/catalog/tools/PF257938
If this still does not help, them more details are needed

what OS are you using, what do you see in Device Manager. Screen shots are best,
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Graphic/Graphic-Capture/Hyperdesktop.shtml is a good tool for that

try another computer if you can. I did have issues installing serial driver on some of my laptops, took some plugging/unplugging.
just to confirm, do you have any of the four center LEDs on the board blinking or turned on?
As plan B you can get a 'usb ttl' device and connect to the firmware using that port,

this looks right, so the firmware is in fact running.

Can you un-install those devices with warnings? It appears you have some other hardware that could be a problem. Can you remove the Broadcom USH warning?

Perhaps you need to install the drivers then plug in the STM. Did you happen to plug in the STM then install the drivers? The sequence may be important, but I'm mostly guessing. Did you install the drivers first or plug in the STM first?

and yes, sometimes it helps to plug the device and only install driver later. you need to just struggle long enough and it would work eventually

try removing driver, installing driver, etc
