Open and close boost control.

It will be nice to work on this, 95% of mi installs are turbo cars, close loop need to be the goal but can work on open loop too.

open loop would be table-based duty cycle, we have 4 of these but still need usability apparantly. Fsio seems like an overkill for a typical usecase
Aux pid would I guess be closed loop control? But needs flexibili in terms of what is being measured for target. So what is measured for pid for boost control?

Boost control is not so difficult, can be simple as a desirable KPA at certain RPM using the map reading as the close loop, but the setup need to have options for polarity (invert or default), frequency, duty and PID setup.

look up table need to be TPS vs RPM forgot to mention that.
