What kind of logic is needed for nitrous oxide control? Any good 101 on this subject?

A good progressive system implementation is what you need, for Nitrous will be good to have dual maps that switch when the system is active or a dual table setup. it can be on off but for the progressive you will need another PWM. I have some code for that if you are interested. Sorry for been in everything but is been a log way working on racing cars.

i need the VVTI but if you can also can work with this it will be nice, i was thinking on that casualy today cos the drag bike is on nitro alcohol that will need some kind of nitrous control.

ok, so dual tables next step. Both timing and target afr?

Dual table, timing and fuel is what you need, the AFR still the same no matter you inject nitro.

there are some approach that can be used. You can add certain percent of fuel to the existing table and you can add that option, is how they work and also the dual table.
There are some very powerful engines that you can't activate the system immediately or the car go off the track, for that you need a delay activation after launch control depress, better have what it calls progressive,
where you pulse for a variable time the solenoid so you dont trow all you have in the nozzle.
Dual table will be nice also if you want to start a rotary engine.
