Hey all! New to rusefi just ordered my Frankenso 0.4 kit. Super excited!

I'm working with a honda f22a1 in a 1993 prelude bb2. It came from a 92 prelude S donor.

Good to hear and welcome along. Have you found the wiki? http://rusefi.com/wiki/index.php?title=Vehicle:Honda_Accord_1995 Does that look like your setup?

Same engine and yes, they are both sister models. OBD1 Honda configuration. Andrey told me to make a thread (: he's being awesome and setting my jump wires up

Has same three VR position sensors as the Accord. I am going to use CKP and CYP and drop TDC since Frankenso only has two channels - this case it will be true sequential injection but with a little longer time to start.

Joe, can you check voltage on B10 - vehicle speed sensor wire? I guess it's not 12v signal, but I would feel better knowing for sure.

Per manual h22 engines (JDM) are 0-12V, my engine and most prelude and accord are f22 or h23 engines so they are 0-5V

I know that the f22a1 im using doesn't have vtec but I think yours did. Eventually I'm swapping heads to an h22 head which does have vtec. Whats the state of vtec in rus so far?? It's just a solenoid toggled by ECU to divert oil flow

I think I am done with soldering, I just need a couple days to test it more & document which wire is what.

Finally getting around to getting the prelude up on the Frankenso 0.4 board. Should have it up and running in the next week or two. Is tunerstudio autotune compatible with RusEFI?

Awesome. I've got a friend who wants to get a setup for his car, same car but h22 JDM engine. OBD1 once we get mine . I'm having some troubles communicating with my setup on my linux laptop (No USB devices show up) but it works on the windows one, so... Going to be finishing up some odds and ends this coming week then should be ready to start up!

russian: Do you remember the settings (engine type etc) that this one has? A few friends are really interested in this thing! More than I expected. Thanks for the help so far!

https://sourceforge.net/p/rusefi/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/firmware/config/engines/honda_accord.cpp says

Code: Select all

 * set_engine_type 6
 *
 * set_engine_type 17
 *   1+24 signal, JM Predule
Get the engine cranking and we will figure it out pretty quick :)
