hi guys , after a long wait finally I have the frankenso board in my hands :D :D and I started welding work.
-the board power supply work fine, tested.
-load the firmware successful in the smt32 board.
-the rusefi console connection work.
but i have many questions, whats it is the communication port for TS? i can use the smt32 microusb for this purpose? or only is possible by microusb TTL frankenso board?
i tried connection TS but an error message appears. :?:

thanks, help me

Cool :)

Soldering paste maybe? See http://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=425

Yes you can run TS via microUSB: you need to put a jumper on GND and PB1 pins & reboot stm32

Time for more pictures :)

One thing about the LED screens: they come from different suppliers and looks like they want different contrast resistor. One style needs 2K and another style needs 1.5K

Right now I've forgotten which one wants what value :( Looks at the traces and vias on the LCD pcb to see the difference.

Your settings looks right, great job putting everything together!

I believe I saw the same thing when my contrast resistor value was off. At some point I was actually considering asking Jared for a small tiny potentiometer instead of that resistor but I am not sure.

Magic :)

Can you please take a good picture of the whole board so that we know where you are exactly? Once you are ready I guess next step would be decoding your trigger signal. See http://rusefi.com/wiki/index.php?title=Manual:Hardware_Trigger

Please note that I am currently changing a lot of stuff related to console and tuner studio under https://sourceforge.net/p/rusefi/tickets/157/ so connectivity could be a bit unstable for the next week.

hello guys ,step by step, the tach imput is ready now :) ... i tested on a jimstim to generate 60-2 signal. the next step should be to check the analog imput and ignition/injection output.
here a picture of my board:

http://rusefi.com/wiki/index.php?title=Manual:Hardware_Test_Mode could be helpful to test the board. I also like the LEDs on the outputs, they blink really sexy...

This is a bit scary to me - is that a piece with naked +12?

How is it going? Is there anything I can help you with?

Do you know your car trigger signal shape already? Is it 60-2 or something else?
