Hello, my name is Ante and I'm building a new engine for my yugo.

The base is fiat sohc 1600cc 8v engine, big valve head, ported, catcams 291°, increased compression and all that fun stuff.

Rusefi will only control ignition since the fueling is done by 2x weber dcnf 40

The two question orbit around knock sensor and ignition coil

I'm going to be runing this as an ignition ECU but I want it to have a WBO as a fail safe

micro small universal ECU seems perfect but it seems like it doesn't support knock hardware?

I've got a 0 261 231 007 Bosch knock sensor, I've searched everywhere and couldn't find much info so I'm guessing the knock sensors are "universal"? I get it that they are microphones but just wondering

I've got a 3 pin wasted spark bosch coil, 0 221 503 407, since the datasheet says the primary goes up to 8A I'm guessing I need 2 IGBT then

You will need one IGBT for each coil "circuit". You are building a 4 cylinder engine, with waste-spark, means you have 2 coil circuits. So the answer is 2 IGBTs. The UAEFI has a built-in knock circuit.
