Hi everybody my name is Mario and this is my project car.
I also converted the aircooled boxer engine to EFI and it runs currently on a Speeduino Dropbear.
The microRusEFI for this car is already assembled and I started testing.
For the EFI conversion, I designed a lot of parts like the intake manifolds with the injector mounts, the crank and cam sensor, adaptors for sensors, an oil pump cover with a shallow mounting height etc.
Parts of the EFI system like the steel tubes to the throttle body and the throttle body itself are of an original Bosch D-Jetronic system.
Here are some pictures. I forgot to document all the progress, but at some point, I will take the system apart to take good pictures.
I had my first contact with EFI when I converted my Yamaha XS400 to fuel injection and turbocharged it.
This is currently running on a Microsquirt unit, but I am thinking of switching to a UAEFI.
In my professional life, I am a calibration engineer for small motorcycle racing engines used in several world championships.
