Hello guys,

I have 1987 JDM Toyota Hilux with 3Y-C engine (with EGR). Runs with 36" superswamper tires. So i need more power. And started my project at this point =)

When microrusefi started to be sold, I bought 2 kits to use on k24. But i didn't have much time. Unfortunately I work on microrusefi right now.

I just started the project with problems =). So my computer didn't recognize the board. I checked forum and find 1 solution. i tried and still not working. When i plug the USB cable generally nothing happened, few times pc give this error "unknown device". i tried many of drivers. So i am working on it.

Have a nice day

What version of Windows?

Please provide a screenshot of device manager. Drivers would only help if your hardware is working. You say old kit so it sounds like fragile microUSB port, sometimes you need a different cable to have microUSB working reliably.

Thank you for your interest and helping. I tried different 3 cable. 1 cable doesn't work but others connectivity fine, i checked with multimeter.

this is win10 64bit, computer MSI GS63VR, rusefi board R04.82L.

JP1 and D42 is empty.

connectivity fine
So problem solved with new cable?

if not please paste device manager screen shot.

if there is nothing on device manager there is nothing we can really do - I do not recall any typical problem, as long as you have firmware (do you have firmware?) it should just work

if it does not have firmware are you trying to enter DFU mode using the hardware BOOT button?

Problem not solved with new cable. So i am gonna try different PC. com port looks empty. Rusefi connected to COM6.
i am going to try 2 thing right now.

Manual DFU mode is when you hold "Program" button while powering your rusEFI in order to switch it into DFU mode. This mode is used to program brand new stm32 chips which do not have a running version of rusEFI firmware.

https://wiki.rusefi.com/HOWTO/HOWTO-DFU/

microRusEFI documentation has links to relevant bundle
