Did you know that https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1899 is a 2004 as well?

Looks identical, except for the convertible bit.

Quick update:

The E36 fired up with the Hellen88 with minimal fuss. See here: https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2211

I sold the NB2 Miata. And I bought a beat up 2004 330ci from a junkyard auction. The car has issues to say the least. But it may be good enough for proof of concept for the new E46 adapter board.

Dyno day says that E36+hellen88 are affected by CAM sync loss above 5k. Good thing latest firmware has provisions!

Today we run November release so wasted we go. That also told us that injector dead times were off.

Fun fact: baseline run on OEM ECU showed 185.8hp with 186 being factory promise.

But despite the aforementioned party pooper the engine made a healthy 186hp at the hubs using the stock ECU. That is 200hp in "dynojet mode". OEM spec says 186 at the crank I think.
Using the Hellen88 board running up to approx. 5900rpm (stock made max power around 6300rpm) it made also 186hp and was almost 10ftlbs or more above stock from 2500rpm and up. At some points it was 15ftlbs. VERY healthy gains.
How can I help diagnose the breaking up issue? I can probably do some limited driving/logging on Sunday. What should I do? Settings?

Ticket is asking for idle TS tooth log with "display logic level" set to false, opposite if what is attached
