Hello, is it possible that the vias are somehow not working?
I messure 5v between pad1 r404 (GND) and P5 (GND).
They should be connected via the gnd plane, is this right?

Well, everything is possible but something is not probable.
Did you get the board from me or somewhere else? Between the boards I've touched I've seen one or two defects, that's below 1%.

sorry... problem solved. it were the crapy solder connections under all 3 gnd pins... of the chip and under the resistor were no connection...
I were suspicious about that because i had to flow solder into one of the via to get one of the power mosfets to go.
Thanks for the quick answer.

Solder joints on the GND plane with small soldering irons can be that way, as the GND plane sucks up the heat. I put in thermal breaks on the via's to help minimize that, but with small iron's it can still be a bugger. Glad to hear you figured it out.

Yes, the large copper ground plane, didn't thought about that. Additionaly i used a dull tip, and a somewhat more attention demanding flux. My Soldering Station is cheapish but works good. As I resoldered, I used a self made tip that is good to peek down onto the plane close beside the part.
