Hello from Finland - carb to rusEFI?

Hello everyone!
Lately I've been looking for info on converting a carburated motorcycle to efi - and then I found rusEFI!
Since this engine (a 150cc honda clone) is carburated, I have to add all the sensors and such. So, in with the questions:
- do i need a MAP sensor? I understand you can get away with just TPS-based setup? What if I want to go turbo at some point?
- I understand Frankenstein supports hall sensors, like Honeywell 1gt101dc. Is this true?
Regards,
Hammu.

welcome! I believe the general concensus is that map gives you the most while tps based fuel control is the least preferred option, but all three primary types of sensor are supported.
Both boards support Hall sensors.

Thanks! I assume that 12-1 trigger pattern does also work?
What kind of coils/ignition systems work with Frankenstein?

any x-y wheel is suported, the boards do not have igniters so you would need external igniters or a coil with a build-in one like some nissan or GM LS

I can also confirm, yes the honeywell hall sensor will work. Do you have a place to mount this sensor?
Have you found the wiki? If not here's a link.

Do you have an estimate for your alternator requirements? It's common that the alternators of carburetor engines are small, and the additional load for the fuel pump and injectors can over draw your ability to generate. AKA if you go driving you eventually kill the battery, as well the extra load can break your alternator. You can often decrease your electrical load with LED brake lights, and new technology for the head light. As well bike fuel pumps are more energy efficient. So it's probably a good idea to get a pump that was already designed for a bike which has an engine or HP that is about the same as your bike. AKA big engine big fuel pump, which means more wasted power.
I have a 72 JAWA which I plan to EFI some day. However lots of things I need to consider, as this think could barely power the head light.

You guys got me convinced - just ordered Frankestein 0.11 Diy kit and Cherry GS101205 hall sensor.
Kb1gtt - you have very good points. I've been reading the wiki quite a lot lately.
I'll probably make my own bracket for the hall sensor. About the alternator - I think it puts out about 10-15 amps which I understand is not very much. However, it won't be a problem since I'm not going to make any crazy road trips with this bike.

That would be similar to the engine that I have. Check out the injector that I have, it uses much less power than a conventional set up with an electric pump.

Are those kind of injectors on sale somewhere? I was thinking of going with a little bit more "traditional" setup...

There are a number of sites that sell them, I got my kit from Aliexpress.com. The injector is made by FAI and requires a lot less power from the alternator at low RPM. If that doesn't work out well then I also have a complete throttle body from a CB125 that cost £25 from eBay:
