Ford 60 pins is at step 5 out of 7 https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi/wiki/Plug-In-Board-Process https://github.com/rusefi/proteus-mustang5.0-60-pin
Ford 104 which seems to be more relevant here is at step 2.5 of 7, i.e. more or less nowhere.

Re: Hellen Ford Taurus SHO
I just did a mustang cobra 4.6 engine on an MRE if the info is of use here.
One thing we may have to sort out is the EEC-V era cars seem to use a weird coms protocol for the rev counter and coolant temp.
J1850 was used from 1997 to 2004 according to Dave.

Re: Hellen Ford Taurus SHO
In my head, the way to do this is to make an ELM327 Hellen module, and let it do the heavy lifting. Interfacing with the ELM327's AT firmware should be easier than implementing n weird serial protocols.

Re: Hellen Ford Taurus SHO
Talking to Lloyds about a way to maybe hack the clocks, going to grab an old set of ford focus or similar eec-v clocks and see if we can directly drive it with a pwm carefully applied to the back of the clock PCB.
My thinking is that the clock probably has an interface IC and some kind of stepper drive IC I suspect we could PWM the stepper drive directly if we have a set of clocks to attack.
Will follow up with what I can find.

Re: Hellen Ford Taurus SHO
Drew is having sad experience with those 60 pin adapters at the moment. Stefan has some info.
