I might be able to borrow a starting & driving 2003 Honda Element on it's last breath. It's loud and there is some talk about only running on three cylinders with a stuck exhaust valve, but so far it moves!
Dave says those are smart Denso coilsticks 2 ms dwell will run them pretty hot

I forgot that "most of Honda's automatic transmissions are unusual in that they do not use planetary gears like nearly all other makers" - that makes this project way less interesting

No tools are needed to remove Honda Element glove compartment - you can pull those retaining clips more or less with your bare hands.

In other news: catalytic converter was stolen at some unknown point in the past.

Good news I do not have IMRC on this engine
IMRC means Intake Manifold Runner Control
pin B22 IMRC valve position sensor potentiometer wow
Sweet data: logic analyzer capture of all three position sensors while cranking with zero spark plugs, with three spark plugs and with four spark plugs.

VTC control which I believe is Honda speak for VVT does not work
I have intake cam postion pretty steady at steady RPM and change on accel/decel. I believe that intake position decoding is fine.
I have PID output changing from 10% to 90% on Proteus high side #2 and simply no response. What would be my next step to investigate this assuming electrical problem?
