Priming doesn't stop?

I posted this on the faceballs site but didn't get any traction so I'll try here.
I have a MRE. If I turn the key off before the fuel priming finishes, it never stops priming. The pump just keeps running with the key out. If I pull the fuel pump relay it resets. If I pull both the fan relay and the O2 relay it resets. If I turn the key back on and let the priming finish all is good. Seems like a power back feed somewhere. The easy fix is to let the thing finish priming. Just seems a bit weird. The car runs great otherwise. Wondering if anyone else has seen this sort of thing before. Thanks!
