when powered by the car and not just USB, settings in TunerStudio do not save onto the MRE and remain on the next startup. I repeatedly (startup after startup after some short trips) had to hit the "send tunerstudio settings" button when plugging in the MRE to my laptop. After every session running, it would revert back to it's previous memory, despite accepting the settings when I'd hit the "send tunerstudio settings" button.

So far so good with flashing only on USB power.

Because of hardware limitations in the microcontroller, we can't flash while the engine is spinning. If you turn off the ignition while USB is still connected, it will write to flash once the engine stops.
