Uaefi to honda help

Post by Steveweippert »

Hi guys I've almost got my uaefi wired up to my honda obd1 dcwerx ss-obd1 breakout board but want to make sure my connections are correct and do I need to use the cyp and ckp connections or can I just run the tdcp and tdcm from the honda into vr1+ and vr1-. I finally got the rusefi tunerstudio plugin to work so would love to get this thing in the car. I've gotten it to run on a speeduino v0.4 but wanted more so I got a uaefi to run it. The car is a 1993 honda civic d16z6 engine the distributor setup is the same as a b16 twin cam. Attached is a rundown of what connections I've made so far the list on the right are the uaefi pins and the honda ecu are on the left. Thanks a ton in advance.

how is your build going?
i made one uaefi run that distributor some days ago, b16/b20 engine.
i had however issues with triggers at idle although im not sure its uaefi, sensors or noise/ bad rotor setup
however past 2krpm it sings amazing.
i have concluded that its best to bin the dizzy and go COP and a hall effect crank trigger kit.
i had to use a 3.75kohm resistor across the one tooth signal as it would mess up trigger around 2krpm.
seems results on this setup is still on a gray area.
