Weird Trigger error

Post by Mclain »

Hey Guys,

Few years ago i started a fiat Twin Air project for a school and i regret it ever since. The engine will not run without proper solenoid control ... I fixed that with a custom controller, but i got trigger issues. I thought it was the 60-2 trigger wheel on there as the sensor just gives a spike when it detects a rise.. It wont be a full tooth. So i thought that might be the issue. Put on a nice 36-1 wheel and having issues with that as well.

Just took the scope and measured the Crank signal at the board right before it enters the controller. And then on the test pad of the Rusefi Micro.

I understand that the rusefi will do a voltage limit to 3.3v, but it seems like it stops all together at times. Since my signal is good going in, could this be a problem in the Rusefi Micro itself?
ANyone ever seen this stuff. Whats the best approach at this point. As i lost countless unpaid hours on fixing the controller for it to run and i just want to get rid of it.
