Uaefi alternator control question
Hey, im working on wiring uaefi board to my car, but im limited with pwm outputs, i saw that injector output can be used as pwm to control tach with mosfet on the circuit, can i wire alternator control straight into injector output? Or do i need to make same mosfet circuit like for tach to use it for pwm control

Re: Uaefi alternator control question
on a 4 cylinder Japanese car you would usually use ignition output 5 (not injector) for alternator
on Dodge Neon you need a high side high current channel which uaEFI does not have
My point is that your question is missing a TON of context.

Re: Uaefi alternator control question
You are correct, i meant ignition not injection output, car is 2003 1.8 Mx5, i took schematic of your na miata adapter board, and based on this i does wiring for my car, ignition 5 is used as a tach and as i wanna keep tach working i left it as it is, so i thought to use ignition 6 as an alternator control, so, do i need to make same circuit with mosfet for alternator control? Or do ignition output can work as pwm output itself
