I have a new proteus 0.7 for the race car and looking forward to using the sd card logging.

As i understand it the card doesnt log if theres a usb connection to the ecu. Is there any way to change this behaviour? I have a rpi permanently connected running tuner studio to display the dash. This also has a battery so the rpi is some times connected to the ecu before it gets 12v.

Ideally i am looking for a way to trigger logging to the sd whenever 12v power was applied. I assume this would involve unmounting it as mass storage so the ecu can write to it.

Somebody would have to make firmware changes to change the behavior the way you describe

Thanks Andrey... Ive tried a few times but this might be excuse I need to get deep enough to understand the firmware code.
