NA6 AC and Clutch switch Function

Post by slokart_mx5 »

This is a two part issue I am working on.

1. AC: I've compared my tune to another that has AC and this is what I have set for my AC settings.

With these settings the ac compressor stays engaged no matter what setting I have on my HVAC panel in the car, even if the blower is set to off and the AC button is not depressed. Is this a TS setting issue or is there something physical that I am missing?

2. A similar issue I m having is I cannot seem to get TS to read when my clutch is depressed. Whether if my clutch is depressed or not, "Clutch Down" stays highlighted in yellow in TS. These are my current clutch sensor settings.

Once again, is it a TS setting issue or most likely something physical?

1- In Tuner Studio, do you see AC ON and AC Switch highlighted blue all the time?

2- See my settings. A note is that you will not see a response from the clutch switch with the transmission in neutral. This is because the clutch switch wire also goes through the neutral switch. The pic below shows my settings and they do work.

1. Yes those two stay highlighted in blue

2. I set those same settings and "clutch down" stay highlighted in yellow
