Rigol DS1054Z ds1054 oscilloscope club

It seems several of us have this Rigol DS1054Z, so lets start a club

I've used some of it's features, and I've seen Dave's EEVBLOG about how Rigol basically left the thing wide open for hacking. I suspect there are some cool upgrades which can be done, but I've not been following what the upgrade are, or how they might be installed.

Any how, I have one, well technically two at work. If there are questions, comments, or suggestions, lets discuss.

Last summer I learned how to make a single screenshot directly from the laptop via LAN (but completely forgot it). Now the challenge gets a bit more complex.
Is there a way to capture several seconds of a worthwhile signal from my VR sensor for sharing and analyzing? Better if it's saved to a usb drive.
In the capture menu I set it to the maximum length, but what's next?
I'd be very grateful for a video tutorial

Does anyone have personal experience doing remote PC control of Rigol? I believe two pieces of software needs to be installed which is already a bad sign. Wonder if anyone can help through this.
