Re: Shopping list for the hard of understanding
Are the only differences between Frankenstein and Frankenso the size of the board? i.e. do they have the same capabilities? The only reason I'm asking is because my car has Bosch LH2.4 and I have several spare ECUs kicking around that I could use for the case and connector.

Shopping list for the hard of understanding
What exactly do I need to build a working RusEfi? Do I need a main board, a discovery board and a shield? What is a discovery board? What is a shield? Are there boards available with just the SMD stuff populated? Do I need an external MAP sensor? Are there any more questions I should be asking? :lol...

Re: 1992 Volvo 245 with a surprise
Am I right, this is a classic Rover V8, supercharged? Completely different engine, it has come from a 1998 Jaguar XJR with 78,000 miles. 4.0L supercharged, 370bhp DOHC 32 valve AJ-V8 http://www.aronline.co.uk/facts-and-figures/engines/engines-jaguar-aj-v8/ http://www.jagweb.com/aj6eng/v8_performanc...

Re: 1992 Volvo 245 with a surprise
Hooray, another Volvo wagon! I'm running rusefi on my 1993 240 Classic, albeit with the original b230, plus a turbo and a t5 manual transmission. that was my plan initially, but with an M90 instead. Then, i was offered a whiteblock M90 so stripped the engine out and bought a T5 engine to go in it. ...

Re: 1992 Volvo 245 with a surprise
Oh, and don't be in a hurry to see it finished. The only funds that are available for this project come from tips at work and the few services and minor car repairs I get to do at home, so things happen pretty slowly. I'm lucky, though, that I will have the entire car to hand, so I'll be able to use...

1992 Volvo 245 with a surprise
Hi gang! My project car is a 1992 Volvo 240 estate. Here she is before I ripped her heart out:. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm193/bb-q/Matilda/IMG_20161023_120455444_HDR_zpszfqud9dg.jpg And the surprise looks like this: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm193/bb-q/Matilda/xjr1_zpsnsmbmpmp.jp...

Newbie from North West England
Just thought I'd introduce myself. My name's Mark and I'm from the Fylde Coast in the UK. I'm doing a rather unusual engine swap and am hoping to be the first to do it. It's the 4.0L supercharged V8 from a 1998 Jaguar XJR and it's going into a Volvo 245. Most people are ignoring the Jaguar engines s...
