is that everything on your CAN BUS?? just 5 boxes? and 4 of them are crap can be taken off?

so the only thing you want to save is the "slip" box on the CAN bus?

you can fix the Transmission problem by going with a Manual 6 Speed Getrag 420 That is what i did on my V12 and increase the value of your car by $20,000 you can run the rest of the car / CAN by just Spoofing the engine / ECU CAN outputs... Then the rest of the chassis can do its operations thinking...

you still have the A/C compressor on the engine? are you gonna use A/C ??

Until that happens, i am using GM "Yukon" coils on my V12-- seem to work well, fitting into the tight spark plug hole... and cheap at the junkyard...

i have a bosch MAP and inlet temp sensor. i grabbed off a VW in junkyard. will mount it into a hole in the manifold soon...

the stock bmw is 4 banks of 3 cylinders... into 2 banks of 6 cyl... into one pipe

the crankshaft portion sensor location on the M73 auto tranny and the 420G i have from a 2002 540i are different.... but... the proteus has an variable input setting for the CPS , so you can use either position. no need to physically mess with/move the crank position sensor on the 420G-- just change...

that pic is an automatic tranny you chopped off the bellhousing? ... you don't really need that for the 420G from a V-8... just need to cut and move the starter bump on the 420G ...

That person can have my M73 flexplate if they need it. I've already got the front pulley from the M70 to time the motor. ...

question.... If you use a race head/ bmw flywheel, and pressure plate, can your porsche clutch plate fit inside the pressure plate? most those clutches are just "spline pattern" and "diameter " everything else does not matter... since they are all similar thickness/ build If that...

That is my biggest problem right now. The adaptor pushes the transmission 1 3/8 away from the engine. I was thinking to use the RHD Australian flywheel with most likely a spacer between the crank and the flywheel. remember if you do that, you lose the starter engagement ... have to move the starter...

Bill I see your using the M60 dual mass. will you be spacing the flywheel out for an adaptor or will your BMW transmission work fine mated to your V12? i also considered the race head flywheel...and i may do it someday... once everything else comes together ... but for now, its the dual mass crap f...

those adapter plates push the tranny and block apart more than stock...
so you have to figure out the depth of the input shaft... and the clutch/flywheel location, etc
probably gonna need a custom flywheel at least...
NASCAR clutches are cheap on eBay...
