Re: how to code engine and trigger setup properly
s->setTriggerSynchronizationGap(0.9); // because the gab is 0.9 shorter than the others befor rising edge s->setSecondTriggerSynchronizationGap(1.1); // because the gab is 1.1 longer than the others befor falling edge this would not work well. Engine revolutions are not perfect so I set a range of ...

Re: how to code engine and trigger setup properly
trigger loads without errors . really cool :) I will take the trigger code pull request :) I splitted all things out to some ennumberated branches. originmaster1 2 3 4 till 6. So you could pick them easily with git pull remote originmaster1 ... I'm not sure how you intended to split them. The trigg...

Re: how to code engine and trigger setup properly
First issue I see is that you are manually setting "s->size = 8;" while "addEvent2()" actually increments this variable on it's own. Please remove "s->size = 8". I need to think how to hide this variable, I will maybe rename it to "privateSize". Do not want t...

Re: how to code engine and trigger setup properly
Can you please attach all changes as one patch text file? Did you create your own github fork? Do you want to commit into your public personal fork or create a pull request on github? I can do whatever is best. I think i apply it to a fork. here is it cleaned up other stuff. but,... not working... ...

Re: Trigger System Redesign
As I understand the sugessted cam decoder is a decoder that can decode 720 degree? , however it does that. I suggest that it should be named 720-decoder , so it can not be confused with a real on. I like to think about these things in detail, what should get passed and how should it be named and so ...

how to code engine and trigger setup properly
I measured my trigger signal and coded my settings in the code. In the code i can see my values , and i feel in control. Maybe someone can help me by checking whether i do it the right way. As overview, these files i changed in the firmware dir:(see below) I excluded the fish files that are simple c...

Re: Mazda 1996 323f 1.5l
My car was running at idle for aprox. 15 sec !
I switched to the vr-decoder chip instead of useing the op-amp channel.
My vr chip was soldered in the wrong way... it survived...
Now I try to tune this thing and take some photos.

Re: vias on frankenso board 0.4
Yes, the large copper ground plane, didn't thought about that. Additionaly i used a dull tip, and a somewhat more attention demanding flux. My Soldering Station is cheapish but works good. As I resoldered, I used a self made tip that is good to peek down onto the plane close beside the part.

Re: Mazda 1996 323f 1.5l
You probably want to wash the board with some isopropyl alcohol, or similar cleaner. You appear to have lots of extra flux covering pretty much everything. Flux is quite aggressive when hot, and is still corrosive when cold. Over time it will likely cause corrosion issues. Thanks for the warning. I...

damned this thing looks cool now! reduced_IMG_20181030_034159.jpg reduced_IMG_20181030_154236.jpg I attached standoffs and all wires attached. ftdi works now, were not working. Maybe the bluetoothmodule had pulled the lines high somehow... It is disconnectable now: reduced_IMG_20181030_035033.jpg Th...

Re: vias on frankenso board 0.4
sorry... problem solved. it were the crapy solder connections under all 3 gnd pins... of the chip and under the resistor were no connection...
I were suspicious about that because i had to flow solder into one of the via to get one of the power mosfets to go.
Thanks for the quick answer.

vias on frankenso board 0.4
Hello, is it possible that the vias are somehow not working?
I messure 5v between pad1 r404 (GND) and P5 (GND).
They should be connected via the gnd plane, is this right?

Picture of the car is coming soon. I got my ignition transistor from ebay. Some Bosch one, got no datasheet. I mounted it under the hood, build special small case. Original one works the same way, wiring is the same. The original one was inside of a part that contains camshaft sensor, distributor, ig...
