Re: Rusefi on MEG1.1 - anyone interrested?

Hi, today i realized one thing, now im have almost 75% of the original ecu pins figured out/reverse engineered the purposes. Instead of making a new PCB, easier would be to swap the original MCU. It is a SAK SAK-C167CR-LM. (TQFP 144pins 0.65pitch, pinout in attachment) ST had a 10F27x series of chip...

Re: Rusefi on MEG1.1 - anyone interrested?

Hi, printing on the terminal wich i use for workshop information has printing locked only to tiff, because of license. It will not print to PDFs, even the redirection does not work. So if you wait a day i will manually convert it to PDFs and rotate it.

Re: Rusefi on MEG1.1 - anyone interrested?

In the wiring diags archive there are tiff files. The first page of the tiffs are abbreviations and component listings, on following pages are schematics. The tiffs are multipage, so multiple pages in one file. I uploaded only the outline for now. In next days i will upload partially drawn schematic...

Re: Rusefi on MEG1.1 - anyone interrested?

I have schematics of the car, this is not a problem, also in my free time im trying to reverse the MEG ECU schematics,. Rusefi on MEG1.1 - anyone interrested?

Hi everybody, i am currently verry happy running rusefi on my Smart Roadster. But i want to integrate the rusefi in the original MEG1.1 casing and maintain all the functionality that the MEG has. But for one it is too much work. Is anyone interrested on helping with this project. When finished it co...

Re: ISO 9141-2 Diagnostics

Many older cars do have only K line, or even when they have CAN, it is only used for instruments panel/internal backplane and can or can not output all internal variables. In K line you have a "standardized" PID set, what every or lets say nearly every engine must output, when requested. I...

Re: ISO 9141-2 Diagnostics

One interresting thing to support 9141 is that it could act as a "reader" from the stock ECU to "clone" the original ignition and injection maps and use it as a stock tuning base for your car and engine. I think it would be pretty simple to implement eg.: Lets say we switch rusef...

Re: TPIC8101DW

Please elaborate, what works exacly? Does frankenso schematics have issues? When i designed my board i looked into the TPIC8101 datasheet and all SPI lines and CS have pullups, but i have not read correctly that the INT/HOLD is internally pulled low. I did not placed a pullup for the INT/HOLD. It s...

Problem is solved now. The INT/HOLD pin is not internally pulled high, but its pulled low! That was the failure. Now it works.

Re: TPIC8101DW

Yes, that is what i thinking, something in input stage goes wrong. I will test it. I have the Int/hold inputmode as default inverted, and the CSPIN input mode also. Is not that the problem? The command enable tpic_advanced_mode toggles the internal ADC reading or STM analog input? So if i use enable...

TPIC8101DW

Hi,
today im trying to make the TPIC to work. Can somebody help me how to configure it in TS? I think the problem is there. What about the connection the connection is 1:1 as the frankenso .4 pcb. Im getting nothing out of the tpic, i am using signal generator 4Vpp 8kHz on input.

Hi everybody. I am continuing my project and my goal is to use as much as possible ICs from ecus i have here. I want to use the supply IC CJ910/911 used in bosch MEG1.0 /1.1s. I will then hopefully redesign the rusefi back to the original MEG casing. I already doing some reverse engineering on this ...

Re: Smart 452 Roadster with "Bigblock" Engine #33

Ive compared the signal (output from LM1815) to the output on original ECU. (Inside there is CJ910/CJ911). At low rpms and deceleration 1-3 tooths were not identified.

Re: Smart 452 Roadster with "Bigblock" Engine #33

With LM1815 i have a lot of missdetections. It is very poorly designed. You must have very big signal in compare with noise for this IC, it is not differential.

Re: Smart 452 Roadster with "Bigblock" Engine #33

You might get a pinch better signal from your op-amp board if you put a weak 2.5V on one of the op-amp inputs. I think the 9926 has that on the negative input. AKA keeps your signal at about 2.5V instead of allowing the overall potential to wander near the op-amp rails. Sweet, is that a STM32 runni...

Re: Smart 452 Roadster with "Bigblock" Engine #33

Hi, ive minimized the rusefi board a little to fit an FISHER TUF94 32 100 enclosure. (with a "two floor" design). Now i only have to mod the top "logic" board to use "dualhead" configuration so a double pack of STM32s will be there. Stay tuned. Here is a little video of...

Hi, a working CJ125 driver would be great. Now i am using the hardware/firmware from elektor 1/2012 but it seems to have slow response, so tuning is a little bit tricky.
