Re: Opel CIH
I have an identical engine in a Manta A. So I probably will get that one also running on rusEfi, and then build a complete test stand for the one in the clip. I have no time frame for it, and I don't need to rush things (unlike work). At least I know that sensors and rusEfi are working, so that can ...

Is there anyway to extract faulty connectors, without the right tool?

Re: Main relay output
Connection between IC TL8888 pin 55 and PCB connector pin 29 is OK, but I have poor connection in harness to PCB connector pin. I will check the rest of the harness on the weekend. If it is only pin 29 that is the problem, I can do a workaround and connect MR 12 V directly to pin 1.If I have more ma...

Main relay output
Hello I tryed to power the microRUSEFI with 12 V on pin5. I did not get the main relay output to work. I might have connected pin 29 wrong and sent 12 V on it, but the MR output is supposed to be protected. The voltage was floating and was not able to drive a relay low side. What do you think? //And...

Hello
In which direction should I measure trigger angle offset, alpha or beta?
Kind regards

I had adaptor plates made for Bosch 0 280 122 001, which is found on Frontera. Laser cut 4 mm stainless steel. discrete TPS
I have all sensors and engine from an opel CIH with bosch jetronic system. The TPS i discrete with 2 switches inside, so that you can tell the difference between idle, normal and full throttle. Does any of the other tested engines have this type of TPS?

Re: microRusEfi
That is technically possible with the hardware today, but not implemented in software (yet, relatively low priority). The other reason for the existence of the main relay pin is reverse-polarity protection for high current stuff like the ETB driver. Using a diode would have a ~0.7 volt drop, which ...

Sorry for the mixup of pin1 and pin5.
Anyway, if a main relay is used its' purpose is to make the EFI be able to power down and switch of the supply by itself, right?

Re: microRusEfi
Hello I have an Opel CIH engine, which I intend to use as testbench for a microrusEFI. I am new to automotive electrical installations and I would appreciate some help. How is the supply power intended to work? Should the starting key switch in the car close a circuit and power the µrusefi through p...

Re: microRusEfi
I am about to start a project on an Opel CIH 2.2 injector engine. I am trying to decide wether to wait for µRusEfi or go for the Frankenso kit. I don't really have a timeschedule on this but eventually I aim to put the engine in a Manta A. Do you have any suggestions?
