Re: microRusEfi
4) aliexpress 32839361268 is interesting - I like 48 pins, but I have no idea what is the side of this box - is it much smaller or similar? Also nice if it's really real molex or compatible molex, not some unknown connector. Is it a problem that it has no metal parts i.e. it would not be a heat sin...

I can help you with PCB. It would be better if it was just a little larger, so you at least can have footprints for H-bridge and other stuff. How about something like this? 80pin-ECU-Aluminum-Enclosure-Box-with-Molex-32-48-pin-molex-PCB-male-female-ECU or https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1-sets-kits-...

Re: TLE8888 breakout board
I placed all needed components for a 4 cylinder just to see how compact/few components it get.
It's got
14 Analog
8 Digital
E-Throttle
CAN, VR etc
60 Pin TE AMP Superseal
70 x 60 mm
Add a TLE8110ED, and it's enough for 8 cylinder

Re: PNP ECU for Vw/Audi ME7
The TLE7209 H-Bridges are connected directly to the MCU. Wont it work? Do not know. My question was if we expect TLE8888 to work as well or not. It shoud be able to, but I dont know how easy it is to implement. I have not connected them to anything. I spoke to a guy at Infineon a time ago, and he c...

Do you have half-bridges wired? Do you expect TLE8888 itself to be able to drive one or two E-Throttles? The anal...

Dont think it's from heat.
I have heated IC's so they are almost rubber, and never destroyed any.

Re: Suggestions for good ADC solution with minimum components
What are the circuit(s) that are connected outside of the ECU to each of these ADC's? If you know the circuit, then you can optimize the input circuit. For example, it is common your 5V will go to a sensor, then back to the ECU which has a pull down resistor. With a circuit like that you are reason...

A little update: The F767 are working fine, and a lot have been sorted out. For the TLE8888, the outputs are still not working as they need SPI. Boards are sent off to russian and arrives today, so I guess it's up and running soon :-) russian will probably post some updates and pictures here as well.

Re: Firmware update via usb?
I think they would be okay with it. We probably need to change some of the names, VID, PID's etc. but most work are already done. No need to reinvent the wheel :-) I think I read it somewhere they are moving on to use DFU instead. That makes more sense for a drone, but for a ECU that often are a lit...

You also see if it's GDI from what ECU they use.
Most VAG from 2005- are GDI.

Bosch Motronic E-Throttle and Bosch Motronic E-Throttle Direct Injection
I dont have any GDI Engine now.

Re: Suggestions for good ADC solution with minimum components
The MCU already has rail clamping diodes. Your 2.7k ohms will negate the 10k. AKA a surge will pass through your 2.7k instead of your 10k. This will likely cause the 5V to go higher then 5V. The PESD5V2S2UT leaks 0.14uA, which is likely to skew your readings. Keep in mind 5V/(10k + 15k) = 200uA. Th...

Re: Suggestions for good ADC solution with minimum components
Something like this? Analogs.jpg Yes. But pull-ups and pull-down are after divider. If you are going to have some NTC, you need to move pull-ups/downs before dividers. Or you pull up will be 2.7 K + 10K that is too much for 1K NTC. They are before. IN means in to MCU. The whole schematic: Analogs.j...

Re: Suggestions for good ADC solution with minimum components

Re: Suggestions for good ADC solution with minimum components
Thanks for your input Yes, what I mean with bulletproof is shortage to max 12-14v or gnd by wrong wiring Does the MCU survive 12v as long as there are enough series resistance? I see the Bosch ECU's only have a 33k array in series before MCU and nothing else. I have used 10K and 15k voltage dividers...

I have tested it on a F4, and can confirm it works flawless from their software.

You've also mentioned ADS7957? What problem are we trying to solve? We have a lot of great boards but not enough software developers to even use the existing boards up to potential. A tip for you, and anyone else that worries about solderbridges. Haven't you heard about Desoldering Braid? I have used that for as long I can remember, and it removes bridges and exessive tin from whatever. I usually use the pull method for IC's. You apply tin at the first pins, and just pull the i...

Also, I think I have messed up a F4 somehow.
Everything works fine, exept DFU.
It keeps trying to enumerate over and over when I keep Boot0 high.
How can I find out what's wrong?
