Got a new rev from JLC, was able to run a full stock US spec late model E30 325i.

Re: Esp32 Tunerstudio Wifi
oh I didn't know, 'Runtime Data Rate' hovers around 15 (I assume Hz). Not great for logging, but plenty for tuning.

Esp32 Tunerstudio Wifi
I got my ESP32 (wroom 32 dev kit) to act as a wifi-uart bridge, which makes it possible for Tunerstudio to connect to rusEFI over WiFi. Test setup: STM32F407 Disco ESP32 Wroom-32 Dev kit I'm using general build FW as the MRE specific build won't let me choose Tunerstudio UART connection (I assume it...

New daily, E46 M3 vert Glorious S54B32 3.2l, ITBs, 333hp, 8.000RPM redline, 11.5:1 Vanos, ETB SMG transmission Got the CSL tune, to get same shift performance as the CSL M3. I know the SMG gets a ton of hate, but hands down it's fantastic. Main goal is to understand/reverse engineer the ECUs role in...

55p Motronic 1.3 PnP
I've been working on a Plug and Play ECU solution for cars fitted with a Motronic 1.3 ecu. I got my interface board from jlcpcb which was designed around reusing the OEM connector and housing. I never liked the OEM case since it's held together by bending the lid's tabs, which easily break after ben...

55 pin connectors
I got both 55pin connectors from Andrey to see how they compare to the OEM connector. connector A was from AMP/TE connector B was some random China brand I compared them to the OEM connector found in Bosch Motronic 55p ECUs. Unfortunately none of them is a drop-in replacement. Connector B looks more...

Innovate LC2 serial protocol
Just a little documentation on how to connect an Innovate LC2 to rusefi via serial protocol. Since the LC2 talks RS232, a transceiver is needed. I used a MaxLinear SP232EEN-L https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/701-SP232EEN-L rusefilc2.png Use the Innovate serial connector labeled 'OUT' pinout: 1: ...
