Re: Getting accel enrich to function
Sorry it took so long for a response, I was taking a bit of a break due to frustration. The reason that tune said 50 everywhere is because it actually made 0 change in fueling. Didn't matter if I had the whole table at 0 or 100 it made no change to the afrs or how the car behaved. Its now at all 0 a...

Getting accel enrich to function
thought id make a new post specific to ae just to aid in keeping things organized. i was informed to ignore the tps/tps table for ae and use wall wetting ect in the accel enrich page, not sure if i'm missing a setting ect but cant get any extra fueling or make any difference to the car going super l...

Re: Vvt position error
made some decent progress finally, i have managed to get rid of the miss (new spark plugs and plug a vacuum leak) I've also manage to get it both starting and idleing very well. after fiddling with some trigger settings i managed to get vvt pos reading 10ish on the intake and 80-90ish on the exhaust...

Re: Vvt position error
yeah from the looks they have been scaled at least 2 decimal points so I've put in 0.65, 0.15 and 0.05 for intake and 0.55, 0.12 and 0.02 for exhaust. I am yet to figure out the specific duties at which minimum and maximum positions are achieved so ill test that tomorrow :) I did have a look at both...

Vvt position error
Not sure if vvt position bug has been fixed yet or not but thought I would bring it up. I have both intake and exhaust cam sensors connected and confirmed working. I haven't updated my proteus in a while so I will update it tonight and report back. For reference here is my last data log showing vvt ...

Re: How to compile the firmware
Having some issues getting anything to build firmware. Have Chibistudio installed with gnu gcc arm and everything I was told to get along with adding plenty of path directories. I see at least three separate red flags here. Please close Chibistudio and focus on compiling things from command line. A...

Re: Rusefi wideband controller no communication
Oh so hardware issue. What's the story about first chip committing supuku? Not really sure on this. There has been no wiring changes before or after the 1st chip. First time we plugged in the wideband it did the still current 4 flashes for overheat a few times while sorting out cranking settings, a...

Re: Rusefi wideband controller no communication
Boostonabudget did you resolve this? Please post a summary of the resolution. Resolved original issue yes, tuns out when the first chip committed supuku it took out the canbus on the carrier as well. After changing the carrier we fixed canbus and found the cause of the overheat issue to be somethin...

Re: Need to confirm cam sensors are working - console does not show two VVT senosrs
I've made a chance to firmware - please try latest firmware let's see if engine sniffer would display two different VVT sensors Also please link your tune and logs to this thread if you see two VVT sensors on engine sniffer. Awesome no worries, I'll try it tomorrow along with the other changes I've...

Re: Need to confirm cam sensors are working
After some tinkering I found that the vr conditioner was not outputting any signal to the ecu and after swapping to a new conditioner I now have confirmed both cam signals are getting to the ecu's digital inputs.

Need to confirm cam sensors are working - console does not show two VVT senosrs
Don't seem to be getting any confirming data to say the ecu is getting cam sensor data, I may swap over the vr conditioner to a different chip just in case. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Re: Closed Loop idle issues
Can you ID which tune was used for those logs? There is now 6 tunes in there and it's hard to ID which one is correct. Going by the ID on the log your idle is still messed up as you have not corrected the things highlighted already in this thread. Please fix the things we have already pointed out a...

Rusefi wideband not sending canbus data
Need to get wideband going to I can iron out my tuning. Have everything running OK enough for now with the only things left I need to tune requires me to have working wideband. I'm definitely out of ideas as to what would cause the controller to just not send any data at all. Have updated both contr...

Re: Closed Loop idle issues
Here's the tune from my car. I don't use any closed loop airflow idle, only closed loop timing, because that's all it needed. https://rusefi.com/online/view.php?msq=495 Ill have a go through your tune and compare bits. You seem to be having way more luck than me Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk

Re: Closed Loop idle issues
@Boostonabudget do you have any suggestions for correcting the wording to make more sense? Reading over your issue, the first thing that comes to mind is adding "width" to the idle deadzone field. I wasn't even aware it said width. My assumption was that it's target rpm lol. Sent from my ...

how does auto mode tb work
for just open loop throttle control with the etb i cant get it to automatically adjust the etb for idle. auto mode basically stalls the engine forcing it closed and manual mode is well manual. would love more info on exactly how it works now that I know how to set up ignition tables

Re: Closed Loop idle issues
Having the idle VE and timing tables populated with some sort of base in the stock tunes would be helpful. When you are given basically a blank graph, its hard to know which way to go. exactly!! there is buggar all factory stuff that i can find so everything feels like guess work and i hate it lol

Re: Closed Loop idle issues
Just to note here, the ignition timing tables are advance tables. They dictate the amount of degrees the ECU will advance the spark timing before TDC. If you put positive values you get advance and timing will be BTDC, Negative values are ignition retard and cause the spark to be after TDC. This is...

Re: Closed Loop idle issues
see that information right there is what ive needed the whole time. Re: Closed Loop idle issues
you'll have to explain further. I don't have enough information to understand what numbers I'm supposed to put into some tables, there isnt any specification on what setting can only take positive or what can take both
