If two stroke maybe you can pretend to be a 4 stroke and use per-cylinder timing trim?
At least I can manufacture a wheel for cam position sensor, that will perform two cycles per revolution, and make ECU think that it is V-twin with small cylinders angle.But it is too rough solution)
